The 2026 Copenhagen Half Marathon is scheduled for Sunday, September 18, 2026, starting at 9:30 AM in Østerbro, Copenhagen. 


🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

  • Distance: 21.0975 km (13.1 miles)

  • Course: A flat, fast, single-loop route through Copenhagen and Frederiksberg, ideal for personal bests. 

  • Participants: Up to 27,000 runners. 

  • Entertainment: Over 20 "power zones" featuring live music and enthusiastic spectators to keep energy levels high. 

  • Start/Finish Location: Øster Allé, Østerbro district. 


📝 Registration Details

  • Status: The 2025 & 2026 race are both currently sold out. (Charity Places maybe still available

  • Entry Fee: 625 DKK plus a 20 DKK administration fee. 

  • Included with Registration:

    • Official timing chip.

    • Race bag and bib.

    • Finisher medal.

    • Free race photos and personal finisher video.

    • Post-race catering.

    • Complimentary Nike running shirt.

  • Expo: Held from September 11–13 at Sparta Hallen, featuring bib pickup, merchandise, and more. 

  • Age Requirement: Participants must be at least 16 years old on race day. 

  • Charity Participation: Opportunities to run for charities like Encephalitis International and Spinal Research are available.
